Am I the only one who is getting like, two or three of these a day ? I keep unsubscribing and yet I keep getting them…. I don’t know if they just change the name of the journal each time, but…. Publisher, can you please stop this ? Thank you.

Dear Massimo Boninsegni,
I am writing to introduce the Smart Grid and Renewable Energy (SGRE) to you. SGRE is a new journal launched by the Scientific Research Publishing from USA. With an open access publication model of this journal, all interested readers around the world can freely access articles online at http://www.scirp.org/journal/sgre without subscription.
We are soliciting scholars to form the editorial board. If you are interested, please send your resume along with your areas of interest to sgre@scirp.org. Manuscripts should be submitted to the journal online at: http://www.papersubmission.scirp.org/login.jsp. Once accepted for publication, your manuscripts will undergo language copyediting, typesetting, and reference validation in order to provide the highest publication quality possible.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the journal.

I get conferences instead of journals, but not at the order of two/three a day. I’d assume that the general advice for dealing with spam (ignore, do NOT click on anything, not even “unsubscribe”) should hold here as well. Why should science spammers be more ethical than other spammers?

Unless you know the organization to be a legitimate one that would actually think you were interested NEVER click on unsubscribe because it just verifies that your email is real and ensures you will get more SPAM

    That should do it…
